Shibuya Hotels â Finding a Good, Cheap Shibuya Hotels
Shibuya Hotels are a great place to stay when you are visiting Tokyo. One of the 23 special wards of Tokyo, Shibuya is known for its shopping and youthful vibe. It is easy to get to, has a lot of shopping, and plenty of attractions. Shibuya is also known as one of the places where Japanese fashion is born, along with Harajuku, which is within easy walking distance from any of the Shibuya Hotels. All the Shibuya Hotels are within easy reach of all the shopping in Shibuya.
Not only does Shibuya have good shopping, it also has other things to see. One of them is the Hachiko memorial. Hachiko was an Akita dog. He and his master truly loved each other. His master treated the dog as a true member of the family. Everyday Hachiko walked with his master to the station, and then returned to wait for him to come home. He did this for years, until one day his master died. Every day for the rest of his life, Hachiko returned to the station, waiting for his master. For his loyalty and love, Tokyo decided to rename that station, and built a monument to him. It’s now a great place to meet up with friends, or just sit and people watch. Hachiko Station is one of the main stations in Shibuya, and close to all the Shibuya Hotels.
There are several excellent Shibuya Hotels for you to choose from. One of them is the Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyo. This hotel received a 4 star rating. The rooms start at approximately 2 American, depending on the current dollar to yen exchange rate. It has 408 rooms. Each room includes bathrobes, in-house movies and Internet access. The Excel Hotel also has a coffee shop, meeting rooms, a restaurant and room service available to all of its guests. There are also several ways to relax at the hotel. Like other Shibuya Hotels, this one is centrally located, so that you can get around by walking or taking public transportation.
Another of the fine Shibuya Hotels is the 5 star rated Cerulean Tower Tokyo Hotel. Ones of its 411 rooms will start at about 2 American. Of the Shibuya Hotels, this is the most centrally located. The rooms are all well-appointed, and all include access to the Internet, so that you can keep up with business, or anything else you need. The Cerulean Towers has its own executive floor. There is also an indoor pool, Jacuzzi and spa for you to enjoy in your off time. This hotel is the highest rated of the Shibuya Hotels.
One of the more affordable Shibuya Hotels for those traveling around Japan on a budget is the 3 star rated Shimane Inn Aoyama. A room here starts at about American per room. This hotel is distinctive among the Shibuya Hotels because it has touches of both traditional and modern styles, giving it a unique feel. If you are interested in sightseeing as well as shopping, you can easily get there from this hotel. One museum that you might be interested in visiting is the TEPCO Electric Energy Museum. This is a fun museum to visit and has quite a few hands on displays. It is free and a great place to take your family.
The Shibuya Tokyo Inn is another one of the Shibuya Hotels that you can use. This hotel has 223 rooms which start at about 7 a night. Like the other Shibuya Hotels, you can easily get around town using the Tokyo Inn as a base. It also has many of the same facilities as the larger, more expensive hotels.
Any of the Shibuya Hotels you choose will let you get out and enjoy all the shopping in Shibuya. There are also several train stations and lines that you can get to so that you can easily access the rest of Tokyo and surrounding areas. There are two competing department stores in Shibuya, which works to your advantage when it comes to shopping. One store is Seibu. It is a nine floor store, so you can find just about anything you want there. There are also related stores, like the Loft, which is all about arts and crafts, and Parco. Parco’s emphasis is on fashion. Tokyo is the other chain. The main store has 10 floors, and there are several related stores that you can visit, like Shibuya 109, which is a trendy place to look for Japanese fashion. You can reach any of these stores easily from any of the Shibuya Hotels.
Another of the Shibuya Hotels is the Hotel Century Southern Tower. It’s 19 stories tall with 375 rooms. They have rooms in all sizes from single occupancy, to large executive rooms. There is also a floor available for use for meetings. If you are bored, and have to stay around in the hotel for whatever reason, you can rent one of their on demand movies and enjoy room service and relax. As with all the Shibuya Hotels, this one has gotten many high recommendations.
There are many Shibuya Hotels for you to choose from when you visit the area. There are plenty of reasons to visit Shibuya, from sightseeing, to business to sheer enjoyment of Japanese fashion and culture. The Shibuya area is rich in modern fashion and traditional aesthetics, making it a fascinating place to visit and enjoy the culture of Japan. Whichever of the many Shibuya Hotels you choose, you are guaranteed to have a memorable experience on your trip to Japan.

If you’ve never worked with a travel agency before, you might find yourself a little overwhelmed by the options. No matter where you live, there are likely a number of travel agencies in your area, and most will be able to plan a vacation to the destination that interests you most. So how do you choose the very best company for you? Here’s how to pick a travel agency, step by step:
Step 1: Ask about your destination.
Most travel agencies are willing to plan a trip no matter where you want to go. However, some specialize in certain areas of the world or certain types of trips (like cruises). It is especially important to ask about your destination if you want to go somewhere off the beaten path. The vast majority of travel agencies can plan a trip to Hawaii, but not everyone plans vacations to remote locations.
Step 2: Compare prices.
Vacations can change in price drastically from agency to agency. You can’t just think about price in black and white terms, though. With a smaller company, you can pay more, but at the same time, you’ll probably get a lot more individual attention. With a larger corporation, you could get less personal attention, but you’ll pay a much lower price. As with any industry, this is all about price versus quantity. Sometimes, the lowest amount is not the best option.
Step 3: Read the basic contract.
If you plan a trip with a travel agency, you might have to sign a contract that protects the travel agency in case you don’t pay, try to back out of the vacation, or get hurt while traveling. Before you choose a travel agency, ask to see a version of their basic contract. Some travel agencies have very strict rules, and if you need some flexibility, you may want to choose an agency that allows for changing dates, cancellations, and so forth. Avoid being locked into a contract unless you are sure about your travel plans, because you could lose a deposit or even have to pay the full price for the trip.
Step 4: Learn about extra benefits you get from the company.
Many companies have incentives to work with them. It depends on where you’re going, the time of year in which you plan on traveling, and how much money you’re spending, but some of the freebies you may get include flight upgrades, travel insurance, tickets to special events, and more. You may also be able to pay for these additions to your vacation, which is not as desirable but still better than a company that does not offer them at all.
Step 5: Read online reviews.
Large or small, most companies have been reviewed online. When you read online review, remember to take what they have to say with a grain of salt. People tend to leave longer and more detailed reviews when they are upset about something. Also take into consideration that companies can pay or offer incentives to people if those people agree to write good reviews, so not everything you read many be 100% accurate. This is just a place to get a general idea of the type of service you can get.
Step 6: Talk to your friends and family members.
A better way to get opinions about a company is to talk to your friends and family members. Often, people will have used travel agencies in the past and be able to describe to you their experiences. Ask specific questions about the agencies they used and whether or not they would use them again. If you end up working with their company, don’t forget to mention this to your travel agent. Some companies offer incentives on the next trip to the person who recommended them.
Step 7: Question availability.
Vacations vary in price depending on destinations and length of stay. Whether you are planning your trip at the last minute or well in advance, not every travel agency in your area will be able to accommodate you. Before you get your heart set on a specific company, talk to them about when you would like to travel to see if they have time to plan your trip.
Step 8: Review their package deals.
When you are looking at travel agencies, remember that “a la carte” will be more expensive than packages. In other words, although your agent is probably able to book the specific flight, hotel, and entertainment you want, you can probably save money if you choose one of their package deals. Once you have narrowed it down to just a few companies, look at the packages they offer to see if any of them work well for you.
